All of the Aqualog books are excellent value, although they are not particularly cheap. They are full to the brim with first class colour photographs and to reproduce these in a book is an expensive process. Whether they are about many of the different beautiful fishes now coming into the aquarist trade or in this case specifically the Cichlid species of fishes many of which are among the most beautiful fishes. They are first class for identifying that fish that you have had for some time, but have not been able to put a name to.This is a really beautiful book with some stunning photographs and for anyone interested in Cichlids in particular and fish-keeping in general it is a book to be treasured.

As I got more serious into keeping fish I figured it would be good to have some books as the internet still doesn't have everything. This picture book has definitely helped me in my finding and identifying of fish from South and Central America.Only down side is I don't think the company is active anymore as it would be nice to get some more and newer stickers for the back.This book could def use some updating as fish have been reorganized. Prime example is the Vieja sp, some are now Paratheraps.

A good concise Entry Level Guide to the Raspberry Pi computer. I believe the edition that I read has now been updated and revised. I found this Book which I purchased the Kindle Edition; very useful, as I was at the beginning stages of inquiry into the Raspberry Pi and looking into possible purchase. This book helped me keep my purchasing decision more towards the minimal side, while learning how much "Free" information is available from "So" many websites that allow you to take the Raspberry Pi Platform to almost any conceivable level of operation. The author does a very good job in laying out the starting "Needs & Requirements" for that first purchase. Good Reading, easy to make a few notes, and a book that you find yourself going back to for a quick memory jog or refresh. A considerable amount of information is conveyed into many of the available resources that are available through the internet and the web. A good recommended read if you are thinking about an introduction into the Raspberry Pi Platform.

53 pages of stuff anyone could have written by just looking at the Raspberry Pi 3 and spending 5 minutes on the internet. The book is so short that it would be difficult to print something incorrect, so it gets an extra star for good accuracy. No circuits, no pictures other than the cover.What it really needs is about 200 more pages!

I did not find this useful at all. You can find better information online. Content aside, the writer could have used the assistance of a good editor who was a native English speaker. The writer was very enthusiastic about the technology, that much was clear, but little of substance was presented. In my mind what was presented did not justify the price.

I recently purchased a Pi 3 and it was indeed very easy to setup and I've been interested in what I could do with it, the reason I purchased this book, and for that it was a great choice. Easy to read, informative and full of ideas and projects that have the Pi as a starting place.

This book has been great for me. I have purchased the 3 versions of the 'Pi that are out already; and several Kindle books on each version, in order to get "up to speed". One thing THIS book has additionally supplied is an enthusiasm for breadboarding I haven't had in a long,long time.

Simple guide with easy understanding how this tiny computer works. But if you already had experience with raspberry before, you need to look for more advanced guide.

Recently got into these poetry books. I own six and borrowed a few others from various authors, and "Dirty Pretty Things" is by far my favorite. The poems are so sexy, passionate, and beautifully written. I love the sensual short stories as well. This book incited the most emotion out of all the poetry books I've read so far, and made me hopeful and excited for a love like the one found in these pages!

Fun, if sometimes cliched. The rhyme, strong end rhyme, tends to simplistic, sophomoric meter. But this poetry does what it says its going to do. It's a romp, and at its best, has that hardboiled irreverence with simple language conveying quick ironic one-liner approach to this intimately playful look at love and lust. The type of poetry you enjoy, despite yourself.

Some better than others. Quite a few that are straight forward dirty. A nice book to pick up when you don't want anouther novel. Recommend for fellow moms, lol, so you don't forget that you are an adult!

I had gotten little snippets of this poet before I bought this book so I expected to like it more than I did. I feel like the title should only have the first word in it, "dirty". That being said, there is nothing wrong with a little sexy verse now and then. It brings a reality and a romance to poetry. But I felt that Faudet's stuff was over the top. It was more indecent than it was sexy. That is not the biggest let down of this book though. The biggest let down was the whole feel and style of the poems. I personally enjoy poetry with a little bit of magic to it. I like mystery and the ability to wonder what I'm reading about. Reading poetry should be like hearing a phone conversation from only one person. It allows you to understand the feelings, then fill in your own words to make a full picture. I felt like the poems in this book were a whiskey stained ode to the authors crazy and frankly dull adventures, mostly in the bedroom with past muses. There can be magic in empty drink glasses, stale cigarettes and lipstick stains on pillows, I just think that Faudet doesn't believe there is, and that shows in his writing.

I read in less than 2 hours! The author actually sent me a personal message on social media telling me to continue to read it and dissect it over and over! Such a great piece of work ❤️❤️❤️ I recommend to anyone who enjoys poetry and has a love for the deeper meaning of life and love

I'm in love. I really think Michael and Lang are made for each other. They both have their way with words that can hit every core of your being and it's just amazing.I have two problems with this book. 1) I usually highlight phrases that I loved in a book. The problem is I wanted to highlight EVERYTHING. 2) IT'S NOT ENOUGH. I need more.

Its okay, not the best poetry book ever. I love lang leav books so i thought to give michael faudet a try and its okay, some are sexual poems but its okay, they're okay, i guess i was expecting something better.

Love these little poems and expressions. Mr Faudet is right at the top of my best list, and my go-to when I need the world brought back into focus.
