Totally loved this book, I'd have to say that it is an acquired taste but, I still found it enjoyable.
I do not read a lot of Yaoi, but stumbled across this and really enjoyed it. It is pretty sexy but the story is what takes center stage.
This book was amazing and it had me hooked all the way through. I found myself crying absurdly by the time I reached the end that I just had to call my bestie up to talk about it. This one is oh so steamy but magnificent as well! I am glad I bought it. I highly recommend this one (18+), even for those non-bara lovers like myself!.
This is been one of my favorite Yaoi Manga that I've read a long time ago and I'm happy they finally put it on the Kindle and the bonus story is a plus

I love the fact that using the tango in the story,it's has very sexual movie and the three people involved in it was made . I enjoyed that at the end they became a big happy family too!!!!
"Drawn to carry you away in the passionate tango of when a man loves a man" is a great description of this self contained story of cool and confident Angie Almodovar and unsure, lost salaryman Hiro. The story compiles all the episodes of the story and then adds an epilogue, giving a nice ending to the story that so many have been hoping for over the years.The story is a slow burn, more a meditation on life and love than a "let's hop into bed" so prevalent in this yaoi genre. Don't get me wrong - this is a very graphic novel illustrated in a realite type of style. But amidst the dancing and sex, this is really about one man broken by his family and another man alone and unable to bring himself to feel the love his partners give him - before giving up on him and leaving. The story is intelligently written and definitely meant for adults and not giddy teens out for titillation.The illustration style is interesting - a realistic and yet idealistic rendering at the same time. The characters are very solid and beefy - even the women. In fact, I thought the main female character was a male in drag until she was shown wearing a tight tank top. I couldn't imagine anyone hefting that huge amount of woman over their head in a tango (think Russian communist shot putter from the 1970s and you get an idea). But readers of this genre aren't doing so for the women - it's in the men that this really shines.I rate this 4 stars - 1 short of 5 since it does wax poetic a bit too much with the tango metaphors and because of the silly naming (Almodovar for a latin name? Next we'd need a Spielberg for an American or Fellini for an Italian).In all, a wonderful, mature, and captivating love story set in Japan but with a strong Latin influence that the author clearly researched well.Received as an ARC from the publisher.

The illustrations are terrific, featuring bara men, the type you don’t always find in yaoi manga. There are no willowy bishounen here, only buff, burly dudes, complete with body and facial hair. But they have their own grace and splendor in their carriage and their love for each other is as poignant as their love of the dance.The artist doesn’t stop at mere youthful passion (although both men are past the first blush of youth) but carries the story into old age, when they are surrounded by their family. The illustrations show that life has been hard for both of them but also full of quiet joys and pleasures. This is unusual since many romances usually end with marriage or perhaps children. Taking the story into the twilight years is a bold but welcome step, as it points out the inevitable progress of a love that weathers all storms and lasts beyond fiery ardor.This book may have limited appeal because of its subject matter but, for the discerning reader searching for really original and splendid material in yaoi manga, it is definitely something to savor.
