Summer Magic is a thing of beauty!!!! I'm a paranormal junkie so this book caught me from the first page.Summer Thorne has her own Sanctuary for unwanted animals, and she takes them all, even an elephant named Eddie. Eddie loves pools and the neighbors mares. And a chimpanzee named Morty who happens to suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder. But Summer is so much more than a Veterinarian she and her three sisters are witch's.Cooper Carlyle is the town's Sheriff and Summers neighbor. These two people have had a love hate relationship for as long as they can remember. Coop has no idea what Summer is. But when he finds out all hell breaks loose.Summer and Coop learn so much about their family's. Summer adjust well, Copper not so much. But love can be a very powerful thing, especially if you are meant for each other.Summer Magic, has an incredible storyline and the characters include Summer's sister's and Cooper's brother, cousin and neice and many more. They all play a very essential part in this series.Summer Magic is my new favorite book and the series is going to be amazing. T.M. Cromer really set the scene with this book and her characters. I totally lost myself in the book. Amazing!
I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the Thorne family of witches. Summer is a kind-hearted veterinarian who loves animals and will go to lengths to help them, but her efforts are consistently getting thwarted by Coop, the town sheriff who she just happens to have a past with. Through hilarious romps, heartbreaking interactions and snappy, witty dialogue, the author takes you through this inventive and emotional story, leaving you with laughs, tears and "ahhhh" moments. So glad I read it and can't wait for more!
Summer Magic is book one in The Thorne Witches..I truly loved this book. It was funny and so many laugh out loud moments. One not so much.It warmed my heart. Any time animals are in a story or kids I love them.Summer Thorne is one funny and sassy witch. Her animals, and her sisters mean the world to her. She’s had a thing for Cooper Carlyle for a long time. But he wants nothing to do with her.Cooper doesn’t know why Summer always gets under his skin. Well maybe it’s because her animals she keeps rescuing end up in his yard. One in particular Eddie the elephant. It’s pretty funny. He feels truly guilty about the way he treated her in high school. When his cousin wants to date herhe’s not too happy about it.He doesn’t know the real Summer until his brother tells him. See what happens. Buy the book!!!Twists and turns that were awesome. Looking forward to the rest of the series. Highly recommend.
T. M. Cromer’s new series is amazing. It will hit you with all the feelings. I can’t remember the last time I laughed so much reading a book. You will love getting to know the Thorne sisters and the Carlyle brothers and cousins. Summer and Coop romance is far from being easy, but it’s definitely worth them fighting to make it work. Summer has an amazing ability to talk and help animals. Which drives Coop nuts. Watching them butt heads over Eddie the elephant, Saul the squirrel and Morty the baby chimp is hilarious. I can’t wait to watch the rest of the sisters find their one and only true love.
Summer MagicThis book had me smiling from page one. I loved this first book of the Thorne sisters, Summer, Autumn, Spring, and Winter. Loved the names! This is Summer’s and Cooper’s story. Summer is a witch, no, really as are her sisters. Cooper is the town Sheriff, and was a bonehead when he and Summer were in school. What follows is a funny, snarky pack of witches, warlocks and a mix of cute, comical animals and more surprises than a kids Birthday party. You need to pick up this magical romp. Oh, and watch out for chapter 13.
I loved this book. This is the first book I have read by T.M. Cromer. I read an excerpt of Chapter 1 and thought, I have to read that. An elephant in a pool, who flirts with a horse, a monkey with a baseball bat, and talking squirrels; how can you say no?This book was hilarious with all of the animals. The sisters were funny too, but mostly heartwarming and very loyal. Family is important to the 4 Thorne sisters and they always have each other’s backs. Especially Summer’s back, as her witchcraft tends to backfire. Plus, every time she swears, mice pop up.I’m definitely going to go on and read the other books in this series. I want to see how the other sisters get their HEA too!
This is a different type of romance from what I normally read, but I absolutely loved it. Summer has a sanctuary for animals that no one wants. These animals shenanigans cause Summer to get on the wrong side of the Sheriff, Coop. He helps her with caring for her animals so he can keep an eye on her and the animals, while looking for ways to close her sanctuary. Their frequent interactions bring back feelings that were present in high school. Insert a couple of revelations and twists and you have a wonderful story. Will Coop succeed in closing the sanctuary? What are the revelations reveal? You need to read this book!
Summer Magic was the first book of her’s that I read and it is amazing.Summer Thorne is awesome. For an extraordinary witch in a perfectly mundane world, she is surprisingly wel-adjusted and very real. You have no trouble rooting for her and every decision she makes understandable as a character.Cooper Carlyle is her small-town sheriff, who Summer has been in love with since she was a wee little lass. The Thorne witches only get one true love in their lives, and unfortunately for Summer and her sisters, the Carlyle men are idiots. Like, TSTL in the decision making process idiots. Since a pivotal mean-spirited prank in high school, Summer has been avoiding Cooper. Until Summer’s recused elephant - who happens to be smitten with Cooper’s prized mare - is lounging in his pool. This starts a chain reaction of Summer (and her animals and sisters) facing off with Cooper (and his male relatives) in a public manner. Sparks fly, emotions rollercoaster, and I stay up all night binge reading.
