These books are AMAZING! I read these with my very young cousins and students. They really love the pictures and enjoy reading the words together. However, I feel they're very short and there is no storyline. Just words in English and Spanish. I know they're for young kids but it would be nice to have some story to make them useful/interesting for longer. But the pictures are fantastic and they're still wonderful. This one in particular focuses on key words in the story of the Virgin Mary.
Love these books for children. I am slowly buying these to give to my kids when they finally have kids! A little early as they are teenagers, but they are lovely well done books. The hard book aspect is sturdy and well made. I just love the artwork and most of all the stories. I grew up with my mother telling me so many stories so it's nice to be able to pass them on to my children. These books also take many other aspects and characters of Mexican life and bring them to a new generation.
I like the art of this book, and pages are thick. Yet, I agree with other reviewers that it should include more words and content (some lines telling the Virgen of Guadalupe story).
I love giving this book as a gift to family friends, it’s also important that it is bilingual since the market doesn’t have many bilingual books in Spanish and English!
I'm torn on these books. I want to love them, but can't get over cost for what you get. Very misleading; all of them.
My son and I love these books. Fun way to introduce Spanish language and Hispanic culture.
Such a cute little book!! Although I wish it were a little bit more inventive, or that there were more words, it is still a great find for bilingual kids
Simple words for my baby girl to learn. Yes 1 word, the one for sandals...well just like in the south we say coke, in the noth they say pop and some places say soda. Its kinda like that. But most hispanics will know what you gettin at. Still a great cute book.
