Each one of the 14 chapters is a lovely meditation in and of itself, filled with photographs, prayers, poems, stories, and wisdom. The Rev. Stevens' suggests five practices as the basis of beginning our journey to healing: connecting to creation, committing to a daily practice, cultivating compassion, creating a grateful heart, and coming home to yourself. It is that last practice that I found the most liberating-- the phrase simply resonated within me. The idea of being grounded enough to explore the wounded places within us, especially on the edges of our hearts, to begin to heal them, borne up by the Holy Spirit, trusting in God's healing love, is a message that everyone can benefit from, no matter where they are in their spiritual journey.

This book is by the owner of Thistle Farms. I've followed her Instagram for awhile now and was curious to see what her book would be about.First of all it's a beautiful book. With full color pictures and a gorgeous layout.Second it focuses on healing. Having gone through the loss of my husband in a terrorist attack I'm always looking for ideas on healing. I like how this book talked about rituals in the morning and evening to help with healing and relaxation. I will be trying these soon.

The book Love Heals- actually helps heal one's spirit. I am enjoying reading ti and it is ministering to my heart and soul! I shared some of the truths in this book in a private yoga session, and my client was so touched that she said that she couldn't even find words to describe our session. She said "wonderful" fell too short. I told her that my theme for the session came from the book that I read the closing words from, and shared the name of the book and author with her so she could get a copy.

Becca Stevens' wise words and heart have been guiding me for many years now. The phrase "Love Heals" never ceases to amaze me with its truth and depth. I've adopted it as my personal mantra as well. Now, this beautiful new book is sure to be a trusted and beloved companion as I continue to try to walk in world with love, tolerance, and gratitude, remembering to pay attention to the beauty and grace available in each moment.

This book is not only beautiful to look at and to browse, but it is spiritually deep and wonderfully inspiring. I have now read the entire book and am keeping close for continued reflection and guidance. It is a powerful testimony to the power of love to heal . . . testimony we need more than ever in today's fractured nation and peoples.

What a beautiful book! There is delightful poetry, teaching on love, forgiveness, spiritual discipline, and the wonders of our heavenly Father. I will enjoy this book for a long time.

I love how Becca intermingles Scripture with personal stories and practical suggestions for making our spiritual journey one of love, kindness, and healing. The book came with a loosened spine with some of the outer cover peeling away near the top... not a deal breaker but definitely annoying for what was supposed to be "brand new."

I ordered this book and the cover had been glued onto the pages backwards and upside down. So that if you pick this book up and open the front cover, you will find yourself on the last page and upside-down. Someone please tell the publisher!

I saw the previous reviews stating that the cover was upside down/backwards. I got mine 9/22/2018 and the cover is on correctly and appears normal. The book is so thick that I wish I had just gotten the full sized version based on how much room it's already going to take up in my book bag. Plus they're currently the same price.
